This is by far my favorite coffee bean I’ve purchased. It’s very fresh and tastes awesome. There is no bitterness and the coffee head it produces in my fully automatic espresso machine is great. It’s definitely worth the money.

    Great Coffee

Immediately, the wonderful aroma of the coffee promised an enjoyable experience. The cinnamon-colored beans lived up to the promise with notes of chocolate, and for me, hazelnut. Full disclosure, I enjoy a darker cup of coffee, so despite the aromatic appeal, I wasn’t expecting too much from the brew. I was pleasantly surprised by the complexity and richness of the coffee. It was certainly an enjoyable cup, or two. If Coffeeness comes out with a darker roast, I’d be very interested in it.

I value sustainability at all product levels and this coffee does not disappoint in all stages of its production. Can’t believe how smooth and rich the flavor is as an espresso or cappuccino. Great packaging design!

Affordable Coffee with Great Taste and Low Acidity

    Brett Day

Coffee is an important part of my day, so I am picky when choosing beans. I went out on a limb and decided to try these medium roast beans from Coffeeness, and I have not been disappointed.

The medium roast beans, once ground to your liking, produce a nice, smooth cup of coffee that’s full of flavor with little acidity. There are definite hints of chocolate and hazelnut in each sip, which is pleasant. I have used these beans to make espressos, lattes and just regular pots of coffee and have enjoyed each cup immensely.

My only gripe is regarding the packaging. The bag is not resealable, nor does it have a built-in twist tie to seal it and lock in the freshness. Aside from the packaging, there’s simply nothing to complain about. The beans and the coffee they produce are outstanding. I’ll definitely be buying these beans again.

Espresso We All Think Is Delicious

I’m really happy with these beans by Coffeeness. Although I don’t have a fully automatic espresso machine, I do have an automatic grinder and an espresso machine. The different dark roast beans my mother in law buys are oily and stuck to the grinder walls, and I personally prefer medium roast beans. Well, we finally found a coffee we both agree is super good, it finds that line between medium roast and espresso. Very drinkable straight espresso and with milk. Definite chocolate and hazelnut tasting notes. And the beans aren’t oily and don’t stick! It’s a win-win here!!

Our Beans: Best Coffee and Cake in a Cup

Something with chocolate for breakfast? Bring it on! Our Classic option for your fully automatic machine is a well-rounded blend with chocolate notes, sweet dessert accents and a mini-hint of freshness for even more depth.

  • Sweet and chocolatey like a brownie
  • Dessert notes include almond, marzipan and caramel
  • Low acidity, yet still fresh – perfectly balanced
  • For flavorful espresso, coffee, latte macchiato or cappuccino

Preparation Tips for Your Fully Automatic Coffee Machine: Even More Chocolatey

Our Classic blend is a jack of all trades. We know because we’ve tested and optimized it using more than 70 fully automatic coffee machines from different manufacturers. So, what can you expect? In nutshell, the best chocolatey coffee beans that you can’t go wrong with. Here’s how to get the very best results:

  • Let the beans “rest” in their sealed bag for at least 12 days after the roast date
  • After opening, always keep the coffee bag in an airtight container
  • The grind setting should be as fine as possible
  • Use the highest strength level for coffee
  • For espresso, a little less ground coffee is OK
  • Aim for a volume of 1.4 ounces (40 milliliters) for espresso and 4 ounces (120 milliliters) for coffee
  • The temperature setting comes down to personal preference

Fairly Traded Coffee Can Be So Simple

Look closely at others, make compromises with our beans? That doesn’t come in the bag at all. We not only know our coffee supplier Ocafi, but also our coffee beans from Brazil personally. And we know what this natural product is worth.

  • Direct trade coffee beans
  • Ocafi is a producer, processor and importer
  • No middlemen or stock exchange purchases
  • Fair prices for the producers, a fair price for you

Brazilian Coffee Reinvents Itself

In the past, coffee from Brazil stood primarily for mass instead of class. More recently, the country has been producing coffee of the highest quality from committed farmers and cooperatives. Niklas and Luis from Ocafi manage their farms in the state of São Paulo sustainably and according to organic standards. They don’t need any certifications for this – just a great team and their unbridled enthusiasm for coffee.

  • Highland coffee from the Ocafi farms Matão, Pinheiro and São Domingos in São José do Rio Pardo, Mogiana
  • Natural and pulped natural processing for extra sweetness
  • Brazilian coffee cultivars: Catuai, Mundo Novo, Catucai and Obata
