After receiving the coffee and trying it in my small espresso machine, I initially wasn’t very happy -the espresso tasted watery. I reached out to support, and they quickly provided recommended settings. After adjusting to their advice, the coffee now tastes great! Here’s what worked for me: double basket, 19 grams, 2-ounce volume, plus a finer grind setting. I’ll definitely be ordering again :)

We’ve had our Jura J8 machine for 5 weeks now and have been experimenting with different beans. Coffeeness Espresso Blend was our first and we are returning to our first love. The only thing that comes remotely close to it is a Chicago local roaster. However, the Coffeeness Blend is perfectly balanced for flavor, body, aroma, finish and easy on the stomach. While other roasters we tried optimize for regular coffee or espresso, the Coffeeness beans taste great for either. We are returning customers and highly recommend Coffeeness Espresso Blend!

Good morning. Once I got the beans, it took a bit of experimenting to get the right pour from my machine (Breville). For some reason, the finer grind would not work for me. I settled on a 18 grams in a single wall, double basket, that had been ground on setting 11. I use a ratio of 2 ounces of espresso to 6 ounces of steamed milk and it is perfect! I find I am drinking less, (was a 2-3 latte a day person) but the quality is so good I am satisfied with smaller portions. My only advice is order before you need it! (I got caught up in the Black Friday mess). Thank you for the great product!

Hi, I'm Arne, the founder of Coffeeness. My journey began while working as a Barista at Starbucks, where I started reviewing coffee beans on my blog using a simple French Press. My mission was clear: to push back against the rise of bad, cheaply made coffee that leaves everyone disappointed.
Since 2015, our team has grown significantly. Coffeeness is now available in five languages, and we've been proudly selling our coffee beans for Super Automatic Espresso Machines in Germany since 2019.
We've had many requests to bring our coffee to the U.S., and I’m excited to say we’re finally beginning to explore this market. We’re working hard to deliver top-quality beans and exceptional customer service.
