Our Espresso Blend is a jack of all trades. We know because we’ve tested and optimized it using more than 100 fully automatic and manual espresso machines from different manufacturers.
So, what can you expect?
In nutshell, the best chocolatey coffee beans that you can’t go wrong with. Here’s how to get the very best results:
- After opening, always keep the coffee bag in an airtight container
- The grind setting should be as fine as possible
- Aim for a volume of 1.4 ounces (40 milliliters) for espresso and 4 ounces (120 milliliters) for coffee
- The temperature setting comes down to personal preference
Fairly Traded Coffee Can Be So Simple
Look closely at others, make compromises with our beans? That doesn’t come in the bag at all. We not only know our coffee supplier Ocafi, but also our coffee beans from Brazil personally. And we know what this natural product is worth.
- Direct trade coffee beans
- Ocafi is a producer, processor and importer
- No middlemen or stock exchange purchases
- Fair prices for the producers, a fair price for you
Brazilian Coffee Reinvents Itself
In the past, coffee from Brazil stood primarily for mass instead of class.
More recently, the country has been producing coffee of the highest quality from committed farmers and cooperatives.
Niklas and Luis from Ocafi manage their farms in the state of São Paulo sustainably and according to organic standards.
- Highland coffee from the Ocafi farms Matão, Pinheiro and São Domingos in São José do Rio Pardo, Mogiana
- Natural and pulped natural processing for extra sweetness
- Brazilian coffee cultivars: Catuai, Mundo Novo, Catucai and Obata

Not good at all. The beans tasted under roasted and sour, the flavor notes were not complimentary to the espresso flavor. Reminded me of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee or the kind of coffee you’d find at a diner. It did not brew like typical espresso, which is what I drink. It brewed more like a half cup of coffee. I don’t understand the high cost for the beans, because the product is mediocre at best
